Overview
SCADpro’s collaboration with Downtown Mobile Alliance researched and reimagined ten different architectural sites around the Downtown Mobile area, ranging from abandoned historic theaters to run-down auto shops to beloved homes in need of a bit of love. The team was able to breathe life back into the future of these buildings over ten weeks of intensive research, design, and passion. Each reimagination stays true to Mobile’s historical French influence and regional gulf coast styles while creating new purposes for each building that will further enhance Mobile’s strong sense of community.

As close to code compliant as possible and respecting nearby sensitive historic, low-density neighborhoods.
Create revitalization plans that are Downtown Development District (Form-based zoning code) compliant, inspirational, and achievable design concepts for the sites.
